Lion: In the last years, the lion population has declined considerably, so as to have become extinct in 25 African countries. The major threats result from the loss of wildlife habitat and invasion by man, mainly because of poachers, who export the fur around the world, and the shepherds who, to defend his flock, they poison the specimens.
