Gorilla: The disappearance of the mountain gorilla is the result of years and years of hunting, plundering their territory and deforestation. In the market for the illegal trade in meat from these splendid specimens (called bushmeat) unfortunately is tempting to many, because it is sold at the price of a few pennies per Kg. To worsen their already precarious situation is the specter of oil drilling, which looms over the Virunga National Park in Africa, an area in which they live, as some large oil industries have already bought concessions for oil exploration in about 85% of this park.
